NFS space
The MSCF MPP2 High Performance Computing machine has a common NFS space. By default, you will be put into your /home/$USER directory when you log in.
NFS space should be treated as a temporary place to put files for launching jobs to the HPC machines. The user should either archive the results or ftp the results to another machine for "permanent" storage. The NFS space can also be used to hold output files while the job is running, but it is recommended that you use /dtemp or /scratch space for this purpose.
